Audience in theatreThe Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts is fully accessible. Patrons who require wheelchair seating or other assistance may make arrangements with Ticket Services at the time of ticket purchase. Notifying us in advance makes it possible to better serve your needs. Ticket Services phone number is 650-903-6000.

Accessible Seating

Accessible seating is available for patrons using wheelchairs and their companion(s). You can purchase wheelchair seating by phone, in person, and online. To select accessible seats or for more information about accessibility, please contact our Ticket Office at 650-903-6000 or email us.

Assistive ambulatory devices will be checked to the back of the theater unless the device fits completely beneath the seats.

Assistive Listening System

MainStage and SecondStage are equipped with Assistive Listening Systems. Assistive Listening Devices are available free-of-charge on a first-come, first-served basis with ID in the lobby.

Individual headsets with a receiver are available, as are neck loops for use with hearing aids and cochlear implants with a “T” switch. Ask your audiologist whether your hearing aid or cochlear implant has a “T” switch (telecoil) and how to use it with an assistive listening headset or neck loop.

Audio-Described Services

Audio description is scheduled for select TheatreWorks performances. Patrons who wish to listen to the description may pick up a headset free-of-charge, on a first-come, first-served basis, with ID in the lobby on the select performance dates.

Patrons who are visually impaired may request audio-described services and those who are hearing impaired may request translation services. For information call 650-903-6000.
