Volunteer Ushers

Support the arts by becoming an MVCPA Volunteer Usher.

The enthusiasm and dedication of the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts' 300 plus Volunteer Ushers is at the core of our theatre’s success. Ushers help to make the theater-going experience memorable, enjoyable, and safe. The position’s duties include welcoming patrons, taking tickets, assisting patrons with seating, and distributing Assisted Listening Devices to those in need.

To ensure that we are delivering the best service to the many people who attend shows at our theatre there are two training sessions that are required of perspective ushers prior to joining us. These trainings are offered multiple times each year. The next (and final sessions for 2024) will take place in August.
