Theatre House Manager (Hourly)

The Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts is seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented individual to join the Performing Arts Division for the position of Theatre House Manager. The position provides front of house management, including supervising volunteer ushers, managing event set up, enforcing the seating policy for each event, providing excellent customer service to patrons and rental clients, and ensures a safe and clean environment for the best patron experience. If you have at least six months experience in front of house operations for an arts venue or similar employment in customer service, a passion for providing excellent customer service and for theatre arts, this position is for you! This part-time and unbenefited position working varying shifts including evenings and weekends as needed, is limited to no more than 27 hours per week and 1,000 hours per fiscal year. $22.98 to $27.95 per hour.

Stagehand I/II (Hourly)

The Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts is looking for people with a minimum of 1 year of professional technical theater experience in a multi-theater venue. The qualified applicant must have a professional and friendly working rapport with clients, volunteers & patrons and demonstrate fantastic customer service skills, integrity and reliability. Position requires excellent communication and organizational abilities as well as grace under pressure. (Majority of the work will be on evenings and weekends.) $20.42—$31.49 per hour.
